@ausmanx I was traveling on my German passport that says I was born in Iran. I was held for 5 hours! An interesting experience though!

yes, in the back of current Iranian passports, citizens are actually banned from visiting Israel! i visited the Occupied Territories a few years back with a Canadian muslim from Canada. she was systematically harassed by officials, so your 5 hours isn't surprising!
