	10:07am Marcel M: Morning Chris and friends Ah! One of my favorite paintings. I got to go to the Gustave Moreau museum in Paris last year. It is in his old studio/apartment that has basically been preserved from when he lived there. It was incredible. The most famous version of L'Apparition is in a "private room" at The Louvre, and they wouldn't pull it out for me. One needs to make an appointment in advanced apparently...

	10:12am Marcel M: I only went to the damned Louvre to see this one painting and I couldn't dammit. I was so overwhelmed there I just left and went and drank wine and eat goose liver and other weird French stuff. Which was much better than walking around the Louvre all confused like.

I think Avail and Citizen Fish had played, downstairs, and I couldn't stay awake for the indie rock. On the other hand Melt banana puts on one of the most ecstatic and fun live sets

Def need a plan when you go there. @Polyus: Happy to pass on the info. I really love Moreau. My icon is a painting of his actually, and if you click my profile, you'll see another one of my favorites. Very haunting. He mixed biblical imagery and symbolism with Greek and Roman.
