Is Screaming Females some hip, edgy cable show I've never heard of? Can't say much about that mall either...

Screaming females are a punk band repping New Brunswick and Don Giovanni

This band 'Mountain Bus' here...well they've got a great sound. They've got the 'Tip of the Hat' sound to a lot of great bands that come to mind [obviously].

...Most namely Pre-1971 Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane & early Allman Bros;Which is fine by me.
Avatar 3:54am
Jeff Conklin:

Aww, thanks, Maltese.

@Sean: Definite SF-influenced. They were a Chicago band and they do a great 'I Know You Rider'. They also got sued by Leslie West's Mountain...

Pardon my language but that is the only word that comes to mind when I think of foolishness such as that.
Avatar 4:20am
Sean B.:

Is anyone familiar with the story of when Leslie West was recording [and possibly might have become a member of] with The Who?; Apparently Keith Moon and him didn't get along [mainly because Keith was teasing him about being "Heavy"]; Leslie got so pissed off he [as legend has it] having Moon rubbed out.
Avatar 4:22am
Jeff Conklin:

I don't know that story but doesn't west have a Flying V-shaped prosthetic leg or something these days?
Avatar 4:25am
Sean B.:

@JeffC Well trying to have him rubbed out...should I say, messed up. Ha, I don't know. Didn't Leslie pass away? recently I think. I was never a big Mountain fan...
Avatar 4:33am
Sean B.:

@JeffC Well it was nice chatting with you. I'll be listening...Great show by the way and thanks for turning me on to some really good artists. I have to take care of some stuff here...; Have a great day!. That Daniel Bachman Track was superb, also.
