Another factor is the Artist's stated or known intent (he always wanted more Bass, what have you) - & yet another is the Historical Cultural context: it was a mistake, &/or the Medium was limited (1960s things mixed for transistor radio, maybe) - but it's what everyone grew up on for 50 years...Indeed: which is the 'real' version...blahblahblah...

FOR REAL THIS TIME! With a mind-boggling combination of talent and a rock-and-roll pedigree that will leave your jaw on the floor, the members of the Hard Quartet likely need no introduction. But for the sake of due diligence, the band features Stephen Malkmus (Pavement, etc.), Matt Sweeney (Chavez, etc.), Jim White (The Dirty Three, etc.), and Emmet Kelly (Will Oldham, Ty Segall, etc.). We think that's all the info you need. They deliver a short set for BURN IT DOWN! on Friday, November 8.
