And may I say, I feel better knowing I live in a world where there is a music label called Rice N'Gravy.

@ glenn -- (cross-program thread migration) -- Trump, as giant incorrigible idjit fuck-up, subbing for release of fearsome Kraken into the game/battle.

the shamelessness and arrogance of the donald is beyond all comprehension.

listener james from westwood:

he doesn't have to win to help the republicans. he just has to say outrageous shit and induce the democrats and their supporters and analysts to waste precious time and mindshare refuting or condemning it. some blandroid like romney coasts in on trump's wake, suddenly looks reasonable, while not getting the scrutiny he ought to have by those who fall for trump's trap. this is how we get bush v gore type elections. these people should be beaten flat, but they end up with alarmingly %s of the vote b/c folks get distracted or disgusted.

cross program thread migration - two thumbs down on that idea/practice.

That last song is my mantra
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm

Not sure Trump alone will make that much difference, one way or another. What really helped Dems in '12 was the parade of anybody-but-Mitt, candidate-of-the-month challengers. The public spent most of the election cycle watching one far-right nutcase after another parade across their TV screens, and that made a big difference for BHO and his ticket.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
Mike East:

@glenn - I'll let you know! that's awesome. I've got some great friends down there but they don't have room to house visitors.
