	1:29pm doca: And you're right. For some reason special editions, reissues and free jazz boxset are expensive as hell.
	1:29pm Cecile: I used to tell the folks at record fairs that I would spend no more than the price of a domestic CD (at that time around $18) for an album. I ended up getting some good stuff, because they had it priced way too high. Doesn't matter if NYCers will pay you $35 for it, you're in Mpls and the market will pay you a whole lot less.
	1:30pm Cecile: that all ended with discogs.
	1:32pm doca: Did discogs pushed down or high the prices of albums? In Brazil we have a similar thing for books and the result was that the guys that didn't know the value of what they had started putting up the prices of what they sell way above what it was before, just because they now had a measure to compare with other sellers.
	1:34pm Cecile: it depends on the release - I've gotten some good deals - but it raised the average price of desirable stuff. Now people in MN can get that $35 they wanted for their album because someone else will buy it from another place.
	1:35pm Cecile: Still, in actual record stores, there's a lot more variance. Different cities have different "hits". Clean Santana records are still pretty cheap here, but last time I was in Lower Michigan, they were more expensive than I remembered.
	1:36pm doca: Yeah kinda the same that happened here. It makes it all into just one market.

	1:41pm Cecile: once again, brick and mortar seems to be the place to go for an unexpected deal. And a good place to sell records if you know the local market well.

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.
