	8:42am Mark: There's a plethora of alternative Christmas tunes that haven't been played to death--some very surprising ones. Haven't heard Jimi's "Little Drummer Boy" yet this year. I had a great vinyl LP, "The Stash Christmas album" with all kinds of old jazz people like Fats Waller on it. Can't find it, and on Amazon they're asking over $200 for it!

FOR REAL THIS TIME! With a mind-boggling combination of talent and a rock-and-roll pedigree that will leave your jaw on the floor, the members of the Hard Quartet likely need no introduction. But for the sake of due diligence, the band features Stephen Malkmus (Pavement, etc.), Matt Sweeney (Chavez, etc.), Jim White (The Dirty Three, etc.), and Emmet Kelly (Will Oldham, Ty Segall, etc.).
