Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from December 19, 2014 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

@pss - that's awesome. I've wanted to see that. There was just a blurb in the NY'er about Eric Idle and his new production of a Life of Brian Bway adaptation. Pot Liquor had its beginning in 1969 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and played an intriguing mix of country, blues- and southern rock. I played YLT's live version"Let's go Save Tony Orlando's House" last night, My wife, who's a big YLT fan, had no idea where the reference came from (The Simpsons), and who Tony Orlando is, so, we watched the episode and I directed her to Tony Orlando's wiki.
