Good Morning Doug and all!
Annie, I'd love some eggs - steamed, basted, over easy, soft-boiled, poached - you pick. As you can see I'm firmly in the "cooked white runny yolk" camp, and love all the different ways one can arrive at that outcome :-) Not that I'd turn down a glorious french omelette, either.

Can you hear the faint pre-echo of the music bleeding through? I love it when old cassettes do this. I wish it were even louder on this particular track.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37am Alex In Illinois:

Hi Annie. My wife has had a bunch of sewing projects lately, too. She is going to be selling aprons, potholders, and other sewn items at an event this weekend. I wish she could learn to enjoy long hours of music while sewing. Instead, she likes to watch the worst that TV has to offer.
Avatar 9:38am Holly in NC:

@Annie, ah, there's the rub. I know many people adore brown, crispy, lacey egg white edges, and I will happily do that for others, but I like soft, billowy virginal (but COOKED) whites.
God I'm picky. That said, if someone cooks for me I eat it. Period.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:38am Doug Schulkind:

Finger and toe tales! Here's a seasonal one:
The extra confinement of winter bedclothes layers, including a zip-up component I git swaddled in, because the apartment's kept cooold, keeps my toes bent sometimes to the point of numbness and soreness. And probably doesn't help the more general ever-increasing susceptibility -- circulation-related? -- of the ol' toes to cold, which is bad news for the otherwise happy winter trips to the woods and mountains.
