Hmmm, most of the other Andrew Pekler stuff I've heard has been dubby techno.
  1:30am
rw:

I'm not familiar with Andrew Pekler but The Prepaid Piano is a great title. Sounds good with the singing comet too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:32am
jj.:

an accurate title, too: it's the sound of (pre-paid?) cell phones vibrating on a piano sounding board.
  1:32am
rw:

Singing comet would make nice bed drone.

this is perfect early Tuesday man .

Prepaid Piano reminds me of an artist named Guido van der Werve... he did a film that involved lifting a Steinway piano into his small apartment and playing a concert with an orchestra. I can't find any clips on YouTube but it's a pretty amazing film. There's a description here:

http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2008/dec/03/guido-vanderwerve-art
  1:44am
JakeGould:

Setting an actual link to that article; pay it forward. www.theguardian.com...
  1:45am
rw:

Oh, and I'm told it was quite an ordeal for him to purchase the piano and have it installed. When the film was finished he returned the piano.
  1:45am
rw:

Jake, how'd you do that?
  1:53am
JakeGould:

When you are logged in, URLs auto-magically become linked. When you are not logged in and comment they are just plain text. Spam link prevention method.
Avatar 1:58am
fleep:

@rw It's not a comet. That's a cover up. www.youtube.com...
  2:01am
JakeGould:

If the main reason we landed on a comet is to expose the world to the sounds of the universe and cool pictures taken from a probe launched 10 YEARS AGO then I am all for it!
  2:05am
rw:

Thanks JG, maybe some day I'll have to figure out how to sign in... make an avatar, etc...

fleep, you're saying... somebody beat us to it?
  2:06am
rw:

Hang on. I need to watch the whole video...
Avatar 2:08am
fleep:

Because aliens.
  2:12am
JakeGould:

Fairly convinced at this point we have not found other intelligent life since Earth is like the “Australia” of the galaxy.
  2:14am
rw:

Aliens!! Man, some people have too much time on their hands.
  2:18am
rw:

Nobody more intelligent than Earthling.
  2:32am
rw:

JJ you're a master of this shit! Glad to have you back on regular!
