Not everybody, Jeff. Turned up loud here. The neighbours seems somewhat restive over your spins, however. That might be called spooked, I guess. Perhaps they are gaked on shards (?) To hell with them.

from the Times of London: "...He stopped conscription, introduced free university education, recognised communist China, pulled troops from Vietnam, abolished the death penalty for federal crimes and reduced the voting age to 18. " Pretty f**king impressive, for just 3 years in power. Labour Party, getting it done. Lots to admire,@ausmanx.

he also removed the UK as the last court of appeal, created free universal health care, formally recognised indigenous Australians, ratified 300 international treaties, and according to Jonh Pilger, was sacked largely at the behest of the CIA because he was about to close US intelligence bases here. yeah, all in 3 years. if we had politicians like him SOMEWHERE, there would still be something to hope for. but we have none (incidentally, he visited Mao AS OPPOSITION LEADER before Nixon got there...); we were also the first country to recognise Ho Chi Minh's government (don't think the US liked that either)
