Yah but Jim Morrison would say something like "at 5pm we'll setting of the sin, and with you baby I'll be in"
Avatar 7:35pm

Demdike + Andy Stott at the Bunker 2 or 3 years ago was one of the heaviest "dudes sitting in front of laptops" shows ive ever witnessed.

Avatar 7:43pm
steve:

haha P-90 - the music! DS that night played what i described to a friend the next day as "the best music i've ever heard" which was droning slow beats under the most massive noise blast going through an extremely sharp filter cutting the sound in and out and making these gruesome psuedo melodies. sadly they never released that material. id buy 5 copies and hand them out in the street.
Avatar 7:44pm
Mayuko:

@steve I can't tell if heavy dudes sitting in front of laptops is a good thing or a bad thing. Should I go see?

That seasons track earlier was fantastic!

@steve: Here I go dating myself, but I recall seeing Tangerine Dream on tour, back then they had these three huge consoles onstage with blinking lights, patchbays, etc. to play their stuff live. Now a wafer-thin battery-operated laptop can do everything those behemoths could do and much more, better and easier...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm
Uncle Michael:

I'd say not really to the Bowie question. If you listen to all their hits, chronologically...and in the UK, that's a LOT of hits...you'll hear that they're more of an r'n'b/pop/rock band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm
Daniel Blumin:

Hallo, Cliff!!! Yes, 12539! I shoulda played the Sisters of Mercy version, Uncle M. Hola, Ken!

In the UK, I believe they've charted in more consecutive decades than any other band.
