Hey Therese, it was nice to catch Ira playing your version of "Ladies Who Lunch" on Friday. I've heard it before and it's great but as tribute to Stritch it was extra special.

Time for a dental set? There's a Hawkwind song with drill sounds, and a Green Day video with a dentist setting...

Psycotic Pineapple -- it should be against the law to play one of their songs without posting a pic of one of their gig posters.

That interview with Suzi was fantastic! Julie also played a nice sampling of Suzi's tunes during the show too.
  12:35am

@BadGuyZero: I thought so too. Suzi is a *true* musical genius, IMO. =D

007 and I Spy in that Alice Cooper song.

P-90:

@BGZ and Steve-O: She's a real musical talent and also a very striong, engaging personality. After Julie's show w/Suzi, I went and read and watched a slew of other interviews with and articles about Suzi. Julie's interview got me interested to catch up on Suzi and her career/life.

@Phillip.(Brooklyn) - I picked up some friends at Newark Airport back then and we found WSOU. That station certainly played the metal.

BadGuyZero:

In the early 90s Ace played this dive metal bar in Dallas. I didn't go to the show, but I showed up later in hopes of getting my hot pink "Hotter Than Hell" LP signed. His people had requested that we clear a path so he could get to the van and promised that he would sign stuff on his way to the van. When he emerged from the venue he was clearly having some gravitational issues. He waved off anything presented for him to sign. I was right next to the van and before I could ask him to sign my record he said "I'm about to throw up." So I shoved him into the van so he didn't do it on me.
