Jumping right into the live music today, Joe. Caught me napping there for a sec.
Avatar 12:08pm Joe B:

No choice! session booked in here at 1 pm!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm Mike Sin:

Good afternoon, Joe! Just tuned in and surprised to hear the live When Particles Collide set so soon. Sounds cool -- please tell Joel Gutman that the engineering sounds great. Really nice mix.
Avatar 12:11pm Joe B:

will do Mike! thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm common:

particles seem to be colliding! hey joe and peoples!
Avatar 12:12pm SmokinJ:

Nice diversion from the norm :) Hello all.. Hey Mike Sin!
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 12:34pm ChrisB.:

Nice to hear The Both. A solid collection of songs from two big talents.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Afternoon, Joe + everybody!
Avatar 12:48pm Joe B:

Hi all, thanks for tuning in! sorry a little chaotic, moving between fourth and second floors!
  12:54pm cw:

Hi Joe, what was the name of the Rik Slave track that you played?
  1:00pm Derek D:

Track 8 = "Lemonade Man"... Thanks, Joe!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00pm efd:

track 8 on the new Electric Mess album is "Lemonade Man."
Avatar 1:00pm MissV:

I only NOW remembered to tune in turn on and drop out
Avatar 👻 1:06pm David Shortell:

Does anyone know how Ian McLagan's show in Fords, NJ went last night?
  1:07pm Tim in VT:

Hi Sasha and Chris from VT/NH (Hanover)
  1:24pm Bluesman:

We're the Good Old Boys!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm Cubicle Carl:

Chris, jazz and standards doesn't sound like a jail sentence you know.
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 1:35pm ChrisB.:

"Three Pears" is one of Dwight's finest efforts.
Avatar 1:37pm Joe B:

I agree Chris!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38pm Mike East:

anybody hear a little Blind Melon in Mikal Cronin?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm Cubicle Carl:

@Mike - yes I do. In fact, the blind melon factor kinda follows me around. People play cuts of their band for me, and I have so stifle the impulse to say "sounds a little like Blind Melon."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm efd:

This Ken Stringfellow version of "Moonlight Feels Right" is brilliant.
Avatar 1:44pm Joe B:

Michael Shelley does it again!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45pm Stevel:

"I'm not laughing anymore." Funniest, creepiest line in ages.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45pm Stevel:

P.S.: Michael Shelley is God.
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 1:50pm ChrisB.:

Getting primed for the Renaissance Fair, Joe?
Avatar 1:51pm Joe B:

needed an 8-minute cut!
  1:54pm KP:

What is Reality
  1:55pm Bluesman:

Cris B - that was pretty funny. Joe- keep on keepin' on with your artistic license!!!
  1:56pm KP:

I think Googe is on this
  1:56pm Bluesman:

Joe, getting primed for the upcoming Ginger Baker show at BBKINGS????
Avatar 2:01pm Scott C.:

Ohhh, Masters of Reality. I saw them a ton in Syracuse when they were based up there. Always a wild night. They even did a return to their hometown show when Ginger Baker was with 'em.
  2:05pm John L.:

I usually don't voice my disdain for musicians at work, so I had to keep my yap shut during a customer telling me how excited they were to be seeing Ginger Baker soon. Likewise comments on the new Led Zep double reissues. Much of retail requires keeping my mouth shut or flat out fibbing. Hey, everyone can't like everything.
  2:10pm John L.:

I missed the Black Hollies when they played up here in March. I figured I'd catch them the next time. Damn.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:14pm Mike East:

DOG should be arriving someday soon in my swag package...to replace my old copy
  2:14pm BriJet:

Hello!
  2:18pm BriJet:

I am really digging this! I have never heard The Black Hollies before!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20pm common:

Avatar 2:27pm Joe B:

good call Common!
Avatar 2:27pm Joe B:

Hi BriJet! thanks for tuning in, glad you are digging the BHs!
  2:29pm Bluesman:

Joe - if I'm not mistaken the legendary MP&P's show at maxwells w/the Haze was their first non-basement show!
Avatar 2:30pm Joe B:

I think you are right Blues!
Avatar 2:31pm Harry Cataracts:

Awesome show , Joe !! Driving up from exciting Freehold NJ I was totally blown awry by When Particles Collide! Thanks you groovy Slovak
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43pm Parq:

Joe, please allow a little side-chat. Harry, wasn't it you who saw Letterman shortly after the Fair? How was it?
Avatar 2:45pm Joe B:

hey Harry! thanks
  2:47pm KP:

I thought they changed their name to Comma
Avatar 2:48pm Harry Cataracts:

Hey K.J. You must be confusing me with another very handsome FMU volunteer! But I'm sure it was great, but the bass could have been louder :)
  2:51pm KP:

Terry Knight, fittingly stabbed in the back
Avatar 👻 2:55pm David Shortell:

I found this footage of yesterday's Ian McLagan show:

Wow, that AJ Davila is great.
Avatar 2:55pm T_Jay Pauli:

Hi Joe, thanks for this music.. loved earlier them work
  2:56pm KP:

See ya, Joe
  2:56pm SHIMMY:

thanks for the Saturday shout out.

Saw Jorge from Los Vigilantes last weekend in NYC. Said their new album was out soon...
Avatar 2:59pm hip:

Hi Joe. Great prog as usual!
Now that you're into Spanish melodies I recommend Novedades Carminha, from Galicia - Spain. The third LP more 60's garage than they're punkish beginning.
