	♥ 11:12am mariano: @bibi: Well, I'm from New Orleans and spent 7 years as a kid in Latin America, so the Mediterranean setting wasn't too disorienting. In fact it was a really welcome change, since for the previous 5 years I'd been in Omaha (which does have lovely deco architecture) with its famous winters.

	11:23am βrian: There's actually a fair amount of examples of the Prairie School and divergent buildings based on similar design principles. Quite nice. But the campus/downtown area, for example, is a meat grinder of schlock.
