	11:12am mariano: @bibi: Well, I'm from New Orleans and spent 7 years as a kid in Latin America, so the Mediterranean setting wasn't too disorienting. In fact it was a really welcome change, since for the previous 5 years I'd been in Omaha (which does have lovely deco architecture) with its famous winters.
	11:12am bibi: @hu, you are demanding, half of good architecture since then happens in yr country, the other half in switzerland. and im not going to comment american architecture, liz would kick me out.

	11:23am βrian: There's actually a fair amount of examples of the Prairie School and divergent buildings based on similar design principles. Quite nice. But the campus/downtown area, for example, is a meat grinder of schlock.

In fact it was a really welcome change, since for the previous 5 years I'd been in Omaha (which does have lovely deco architecture) with its famous winters.
