That was awesome. I actually have a big rock on my desk labelled "MS Admin". When I feel the urge to ask a Win Admin for something, I just ask my rock, and that eliminates all my frustration at their ineptitude when my rock just stares back at me, silently.

I'm guessing on some kind of hardened etymological link on the chiton chitin.

Tried to go last night to a symposium/discussion on Sun Ra at 100 last night; Szwed was on the dais, as well as Greg Tate &c. I showed up a little late (as is my fashion), and the event was filled to capacity! I was turned away -- happy for the amount of interest in Ra, sad for my loss. Exystence was down for a while last night and I was breaking out in hives. Was thrilled to see just now that it's back up (though I'm not sure how it remains up, frankly).

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24am Stanley:

Hi Doug and esteemed listeners
Great track you've just played. Reminds me of the time I spent in Dafur, village style. At nights we used sit around passing round the drum and singing. It was called 'wanassa and n'gara' - little stories and drum.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:25am Uncle Michael:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:27am Doug Schulkind:

You must have some stories to tell, Stanley.

@βrian Ever tried cardamon tea, good for digestion. Would recommend Christmas Pudding ice cream, well you have to something with that stodge.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28am Doug Schulkind:

I read somewhere online that this Fred Fisher Atalobhor disc was mastered horribly giving it this loopy, warped sound. I pray to GOD that this is not true and that the music is supposed to sound this way. Because this is the way I need it to sound. On purpose.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30am Stanley:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33am Doug Schulkind:

Maybe the whole world is off center, and Mr. Atalobhor is just right. Ever think of THAT?!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 11:34am Brian in UK:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:35am Alex In Illinois:

@βrian: I seem to be the only one that thinks apples go great with cardamom. IN the Autumn and early winter, I always want to put it in all the pies, but everyone else is like: "You can put that on your own slice".
  11:36am Cecile:

It sounds poorly mastered but the mastering is like another freaky instrument. Like it's chopped and screwed.
