	10:34am still b/p: Saw the car chase in The Seven-Ups recently, and noted that the goosed car sounds were way incongruous with what Roy Scheider was driving. Just found a note that claims Bullitt car sounds were re-used for it.

	♥ 10:40am Guido from Cologne: Often enough re-recordings are the only way to get the music decently withoud sound effects. But i would always prefer the original if there is one existing, even if the master himself conducts. the original vintage studio sound, the real mood of the time period.

	10:34am Cecile: I seem to remember original soundtrack records being a little different from original soundtracks. Star Wars, it was the same orchestra, but slightly different from the film IIRC.
	10:34am still b/p: Saw the car chase in The Seven-Ups recently, and noted that the goosed car sounds were way incongruous with what Roy Scheider was driving. Just found a note that claims Bullitt car sounds were re-used for it.

	♥ 10:40am Guido from Cologne: Often enough re-recordings are the only way to get the music decently withoud sound effects. But i would always prefer the original if there is one existing, even if the master himself conducts. the original vintage studio sound, the real mood of the time period.
