Much appreciated. ...oh I'm the reverse - self-trained guitar by ear - & learning keyboard in my old age...not happening so far: 'This is Your Brain on Music' says there are lobes on the top of your brain - & one on one side gets larger if you learn Strings - & the Opposite one if you learn Keyboards !! - good on these disgustingly talented folk who do it all !...I think learning an instrument might be like learning a language - more plasticity for it on youth - but that;s why it's good - because it's hard...that book also says it's about Time (10,000 hours to be a Master)...
