i look forward to ribbeting radio.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55am Doug Schulkind:

There is a chain of contemporary country radio station's called "Froggy 95" or "Froggy 98" (or whatever the station's frequency is). For long stretches mid-state on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, it's all you can tune in. Hid-E-ous.
Avatar 8:56am glenn:

i love all those cottage country radio station names. the bear, the wolf, caribou fm.

Beautifully put. And with radio, that island need only be in the mind.

Also, I got the parcel yesterday. Thank you!

ah good. i thought it would show up today. did you listen to the c.d.?
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:10am listener james from westwood:

i used to get a distant-sounding am radio station, somewhere in the 1400s, in the early 90s. 70s and 80s metal. no idea where it broadcast from (i was in northern NJ). i suspect half my reason for liking it was the fact that I could get it, static and all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:10am Doug Schulkind:

@glenn
Haven't had a chance to open up the deal. Hopefully later today.

Hey everybody, Listener Glenn sent me an external optical disc drive. Everybody shout "GODDAMM THAT'S AMAZING, THANK YOU LISTENER GLENN." In unison.

Translated as "old boy" and "son of a preacher", respectively. The chap on the bottle is Ivar Aasen, if anyone associates anything by that name. Not distributed internationally so far.

speaking of CURLING, last night's HEARTY WHITE show had him chipping at some ice. then he said "this is how curling probably got started...". that guy is very off, but in a very good way.

mmm. i don't see how putin can pass the law, warn everybody about breaking it, and then not act on it when it happens, which it will, guaranteed.

you know, i had a teeny hint of van morrison in his vocals in the earlier part. maybe just me imagining where morrison picked it up from.

glenn, don't try to penetrate the gray labyrinth of putin's kgb mind. if you emerge, it will be as a changed person.

It's my first attempt at saffron rice. I'm going Latin this time, and only have onions and beans around. If it goes well, then I'll try a thai spin this
weekend. (I really need to hit the green grocer)

Awesome Doug. Enjoy the weekend!
