Yeah the music and gallery scene was strong in the '80's and 90's too. Ironsides, the Press Club, The Torch, Harlows, and some other great blues dives I can't recall the name. I remember doing Chalk it up to Sacramento with Cake and Tattooed Love Dogs doing the volunteer music appearances. Sacramento had great free summer concerts in the park then, hope that is still happening.

I live in Upstate NY now. Haven't been back to CA since I wandered off in '97.
