B: Yeah, but they cost money.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm

Blankman, shame on you! (winky emoticon to indicate I am joking)

Breaking news: New replay rules for MLB approved by all 30 teams. Managers will have two challenges per game.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm
Matt F:

Not including disputed fair/foul HR calls?
Avatar 2:54pm
Lewis:

ughhh - I think replays have no place in baseball. call me old fashioned!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm
Uncle Michael:

bleacherreport.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm
Nate K:

@Lewis I'm kind of against replays in all sports. There are no do-overs when some makes a fielding error or drops the football in the end zone or, say, drafts a lemon. Human error impacts every level of the game and should extend to blown calls. Reviews can also slow games to a crawl, and my attention span is already so limited...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm
Uncle Michael:

Also, ballparks will now be allowed to replay anything they want on the jumbotrons. Except for the Cubs...because they don't have one.
Avatar 2:58pm
Lewis:

@NateK - no argument, I just don't pay attention to anything else, and lately with my move the midwest, barely baseball...
Avatar 3:01pm
Lewis:

And I might add, What is this obsession with TRUTH?! As Nate points out it is humans that are doing this stuff. The refs are human, human error is part of the system. As if the replay some how makes the world more uncertain… Sheesh!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01pm
Uncle Michael:

I've come full circle and I'm for getting the calls right. There's even technology to call balls and strikes. Bring on the robots.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01pm
Brian in UK:

Hi Matt, did Peter Cook mention Frueeey Green Eye Wash or the Leaping Nuns?
Avatar 3:03pm
Lewis:

@UM - it just replaces uncertainty we can see or imagine with uncertainty we can;t see and can't imagine…
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:05pm
Matt F:

Brian, of course! And the frozen lolly...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm
Stanley:

Big Yoot!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm
Uncle Michael:

ewwwwwkay.
Avatar 3:12pm
Lewis:

@UM - I really don't care that much - I mostly baffled by the obsession… (well perhaps I care just a tad too much…?) (what is with my obsession with the obsession?) … I should probably just get my nose back in my work...

Parq: Money can't buy happiness - but it can make the f**king down-payment ! Research says that's sorta true: Wealth up to Middle Class security *does* increase Happiness (getting out of Poverty) - but ever-increasing Wealth above that does not necessarlily increase Happiness...

- Every Game involves playing by agreed Rules. That's what Games are. I just happen to agree w/ very very few of them...

- It's two-stream Thurs. Afternoon - & I should leave the trap for sustenance anyhow...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm
Matt F:

Sean, me too! I bet we've met & didn't even know it...
