Sorry :-( @Kathy -my Polish ex-step inlaws (?!) spoiled me w pierogis, also the church ladies at various fairs. And in a pinch there were a couple good packaged local brands out of Holyoke, Hatfield, Chicopee.

	10:06pm Uncle Michael: One of my favorite relatively recent concert memories was seeing Gov't Mule on a night when the Derek Trucks Band was playing in the same town, blocks away. John Scofield was on the same bill as Derek and the two of them came to sit in on the Mule encores which lasted an hour. Scofield seemed to be both a little out of his element and to be having a blast. I had a blast.
	10:07pm balkanized bathroom: Thanks Holly. Just wondering if you were in NC. I spent several years closer to Charlotte. I never made it to the Ashville music venues but WNCW is my backup stream to FMU. Tonight is the Grateful Dead night which normally pulls me away from FMU (reluctantly).

	10:11pm Uncle Michael: I do, Rev...and I'm planning a feature. I made the huge mistake of not going to see Frampton about three years ago. I hear his live sets are terrific these days.
	10:11pm Whooda: WNCW is a freeform college staion in Spindale, NC Isothermal College. They have some dedicated shows: GD, Celtic, Satruday night is Blues Party (excellent) after midnight is ARC, freeform with new DJ's. They offer a lot of bluegrass plus the standard NPR Diamond show, also world music, etc.
	10:13pm Uncle Michael: Look like GDH is on Wednesdays on WNCW. David Gans is an old friend of mine.
	10:14pm Whooda: YES! David Gans kicks it off then Uncle Dave (local) DJ takes over for about 3 or 4 hours. Uncle Dave has been doing GD on WFMU every Wednesday night for over 20 years.

	10:06pm Uncle Michael: One of my favorite relatively recent concert memories was seeing Gov't Mule on a night when the Derek Trucks Band was playing in the same town, blocks away. John Scofield was on the same bill as Derek and the two of them came to sit in on the Mule encores which lasted an hour. Scofield seemed to be both a little out of his element and to be having a blast. I had a blast.

They have some dedicated shows: GD, Celtic, Satruday night is Blues Party (excellent) after midnight is ARC, freeform with new DJ's. They offer a lot of bluegrass plus the standard NPR Diamond show, also world music, etc.

	10:14pm Whooda: YES! David Gans kicks it off then Uncle Dave (local) DJ takes over for about 3 or 4 hours. Uncle Dave has been doing GD on WFMU every Wednesday night for over 20 years.
