You know, I've just been listening to Scott Walker's Drift so my neurons probably need to cool off. This is perfect.

Happy not-so-winter-feeling winter, y'all! Neurons ready? Hallo Jake! Welcome onboard!

Jake, could it have been what the t-shirt depicted???

The Count of Al Dente:

This is a great piece.

Mayuko:

It happens all the time but I still can't help being impressed by the way you segue one track to another. Esp the last couple of tracks have sounded like one creature altogether. This Barbara track sounds great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm
Daniel Blumin:

Thanks, Count & Mayuko! Tis a great track indeed! Jake, saw a guy in shorts on the subway. It's crazy endtimes as Camping predicted though he didn't quite live to see it happen!

Lovely set and french pronunciation, DB.

Hi Mayuko! Don't remember if I already said it but your radio zombies t-shirt made my neighbors' 2 yo daughter cry a couple months ago. Had to go back home and put on the radio bear one.

Cliff:

Hey, you're welcome!

Droll:

My sister's kids recognized the Día de Muertos FMU shirt I was wearing and thought it was cool, but their mom tried to convince them "Day of the Dead is a sick idea". The kids ignored her.

I was unable to convince any of them to listen to the station.

evening jerk. finally tuning in

Well this is flippin' awesome.
Avatar 9:31pm
Mayuko:

Oh no Looms! I bet Mr.Blumin's show has been scaring some little people and/or cats somewhere in the world right now too. That's what wfmu does to people. I made the shirt accordingly, mission accomplished.
Avatar 9:34pm
Mayuko:

Droll, now I see the mission wasn't accomplished really.
  9:35pm
jeff-m:

wow. that Rob song was so good
Avatar 9:36pm
Mayuko:

BUT The Day of the Day is not sick at all! Japanese have a similar custom and it's biggest event is dance party. Deads in dancypantz day.
Avatar 9:38pm
Mayuko:

Oh no you were talking about the brown one Droll! sorry. I love that shirt too!
Avatar 9:40pm
fleep:

I've been wearing the WFMU hoodie for weeks and remain invisible to anyone under 40. As usual.
Avatar 9:43pm
Droll:

Mayuko, My sister still listens to Bon Jovi, she can't be saved, but her kids are 11 and 13 and it's not too late. They're too young for FMU but don't seem to have picked up on Def Leppard yet, either. They like Queen, so I turned 'em on to Queen II -- Ogre Battle!
  9:54pm
JakeGould:

Leave the kids alone. Let them listen to what they want. Then when they want to explore new things they will. I mean I listened mainly to RUSH when I was 15, so what?
Avatar 9:57pm
Mayuko:

Droll, a friend of mine was trying to brainwash his daughter with "The Man-Machine" when she was still baby, THAT was too young! But 13 could be old enough to get some recommendations to new/weird stuff, I suppose.
Avatar 9:58pm
fleep:

Thanks, DB!
Avatar 10:00pm
Looms:

yhx, see ya!
Avatar 10:01pm
Droll:

Jake, I do let them listen to what they want, but I always have recommended music to everyone, adults or kids.

Do you work for my sister? Even she doesn't tell me what I'm allowed to say to them.
