	2:42pm Ed in Scotchland: As an extremely infrequent listener of GTDR (and I'm enjoying this show immensely, by the by,) I'd like to know, is the station as a whole best described as 'WFMU 2', or is there some sort of overriding musical concept which drives GTDR, which is distinct from WFMU itself?
	2:43pm teeter tot: Yes Hyde, I was on my way to the archive and you wouldn't believe how my eyes lit up in amazement at my good fortune to discover the live feed.
	2:44pm Uncle Michael: Ed, I'd say that in principle it is not distinct, musically...since as with all shows on WFMU's terrestrial signal, GTDR DJs play whatever they feel moved to play.
	2:44pm hyde: @Ed i think of it as sort of a parallel Doug Schulkind multiverse
	2:45pm Uncle Michael: I'm glad you're enjoying the show, Ed.
	2:48pm Andrew Waterloo: GTDR and the other streams are different in the sense that they have a more consistent 24hr cycle.
	2:49pm pacific standard simon: One distinction is that the GTDR stream is open to DJs who do not live in the WFMU broadcast area.
	2:51pm Uncle Michael: And we don't have to please the FCC with legal IDs and clean language.
	2:52pm listener james from westwood: @ed: plus a couple of WFMU 2 DJs are former on-air DJs, so there's some overlap there, too. about the only difference i can think of is that there are no fcc restrictions on language or content here.

	2:44pm Uncle Michael: Ed, I'd say that in principle it is not distinct, musically...since as with all shows on WFMU's terrestrial signal, GTDR DJs play whatever they feel moved to play.
