good pre-halloween tuesday, tony and all!!
Avatar 11:59am
Tony Coulter:

Heya, Slaymes! That reminds me: I don't get to do a Halloween show this year, as I have a couple of times in the past. Oh well....
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 11:59am
Uncle Fester:

Hold my light bulb.
Avatar 12:01pm
Tony Coulter:

Heya Fester!

All I mean by saying I don't get to do a Halloween show is that my show doesn't fall on Halloween -- no evil forces are stopping me.
Avatar 12:04pm
Tony Coulter:

Here in Portland, Halloween lasts at least a month -- it's a little much, actually. People have been running around in costumes for a couple of weeks already.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:06pm
listener james from westwood:

no worries, i shall compensate by redoubling my consumption of candy corn.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:07pm
Uncle Michael:

As a matter of personal policy, I don't do holiday shows if I don't have a show *on* the holiday. This makes the Hanukkah and Pesach shows the only slam-dunks. Mostly, I look forward to an April Fools show someday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm

hi Tony!
Avatar 12:07pm
pacific standard simon:

Here, too. I went on a woodland pumpkin walk at the local plant nursery a week and a half ago, and the kids were already working their costumes.
Avatar 12:08pm
Tony Coulter:

Heya, DCE and PS Simon!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:08pm
Uncle Michael:

I wonder what percentage of Halloween candy sold in the U.S. actually makes it to trick or treaters.
Avatar 12:09pm
pacific standard simon:

Most of mine; the only thing that tempts me these days is the tootsie roll pops.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:11pm
Uncle Michael:

I'd be surprised it nationally, it was as high as 20%.
Avatar 12:14pm
Tony Coulter:

I don't mind weeks of kids in cutes costumes -- it's all the adults dressed as sexy pirates, or whatever, that gets me. Halloween seems to be merging with Mardi Gras.

Simon, somewhere I used to have a signed S. Clay Wilson Pissgums drawing. It disappeared long ago.

Voices play tricks on the radio, if you're not listening carefully. When I heard Geddy singing that song, I thought it was Amy Rigby. When David LaFlamme started singing, I thought it was Gordon Lightfoot.
