The stage was pretty far from the seating, and at one point Rufus started singing to (what looked to him like) an attractive long-haired gal in one of the front rows: "I looove you, baby, yes I do, you're so fine," etc. In fact -- as was obvious to everyone in the audience -- it was a long-haired guy. Can't remember if Rufus came to a sudden realization of his error...
