All those post-Smokey Miracles' LPs are worth checking out. "City of Angles" is actually a concept LP, and yes, the hit "Love Machine" is part of that concept.

Duane - LOVE the premium. I listened to it several times through on my vacation driving when I got out of FMU range. So good.

Also, that very artist from your premium made my morning a real pain in the ass because he requested a second kick drum and floor tom and we have no one staffed in percussion because of layoffs, so yours truly had to figure out how to find and change drum heads...
Avatar 12:45pm
Duane:

WOW!!! Thanx Mike. amazing story too..it would not be 'The artist" without a bit o drama, huh?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm

2 and a half weeks and counting. I think going to work every day is definitely slowing down my recovery. Trying desperately to get well by this weekend, because I'm supposed to go to a cabin with friends. The sweet sounds of your show certainly help.

where'd you get the phil collins demo, duane?
Avatar 2:26pm
ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

The "Home demo 1980" makes me think of Phil Collins at home with his Casio keyboard, in his pj's singing with a cat on his lap.

Matt:

Ha! Oh, Phil...
Avatar 2:27pm

Haha Jennique! I think I got that demo from my friend Jorge common

I loved the story of Leonard Cohen showing up to the studio with the cheap Casio keyboard, and insisted he be allowed to use it.
