	12:19pm Irene Trudel: Hi Everybody! Nice to be here in a cool studio. @Sean, I can answer that too. NYC is wretchedly hot (90'sF) & humid. My poor kitties are suffering the most, but have found cooler spots in front of the fan/AC-- which is only slightly better than the outdoors in my stifling, top floor apartment. How are the rest of you staying cool today?
	12:21pm Van in DC: My near-the-top apartment also is only slightly cooler than outside. Happy to be in the cold AC at work today.
	12:22pm KP: Not that bad if you are not expending energy. Sitting in car to do alt side parking with FMU on was a breeze.

	12:45pm v k: in defense of summer in the NorthEastern U.S. - when its bad, its bad - but it is only bad ~20% of summer - pleasant, cool summer nights are the norm - we breakout sweatshirts in the evenings beginning in mid-august

	12:52pm KP: It is not bad today and yesterday was OK despite 94 F temps. It's the humidity as they say. It gets bad at night. i just moved to city and I'm enjoying it. At night the humidity builds so you find bar, theater or apt. hopefully all three.
