This is funny: I just got an email from WFMU's Becky Lewis telling me my show's archive has been posted! And yet, here I am on der air! If any of you go back to listen to the archive to the first hour of the show before the show is over, STAY ON THE PATH AND DO NOT STEP ON A BUTTERFLY!!!
Avatar 7:37pm
Jesse K:

Maybe I'll just play my first set from the archive again at 740...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm

Oh, Doug, if you get me started on North Carolina shenanigans, I will stroke out. Seriously. I'm hoping to take the 2 girls I care for Monday evenings to one of the Moral Monday protests, but need to find a week where the littlest won't have to get up for school next am.

Sorry Doug, if I had known...
Avatar 8:02pm
Matt from Springfield:

There's a bug in this programming!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04pm
Doug Schulkind:

It's nah problèmé, jesse. The bug songs will multiply in time for next week. I have a mariachi mosquito song to drop, so I've got no complaints.
Avatar 8:05pm

Appropos transition from bugs, as Cajuns are just like the French, but with more bugs, hot sauce, gators 'n guns!

I'll go to 8:15. You to 8:30. Me to 8:45 and you finish up?
Avatar 8:07pm
Jesse K:

sounds like a plan!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:08pm

Seems only right you finish the show. Also, it will freak Becky Lewis out if she hears my voice finishing your show.

My weird brothers: Whenever yinz cut over to the other, the stream drops for a few seconds and then studders terrribly - until I close and restart the flash player again, and then it's perfect again until next transition. STILL fun...but wanted to give you the info - I'll bet it's not just me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm
Doug Schulkind:

Thanks for the info, h.i.w. Have you heard the normal transition between our shows at 7pm and if so, does it do what you are describing then?
Avatar 8:55pm
northguineahills:

Thanks Jesse & Doug! See all of you Give the Drummerites next time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:56pm

Anyone else have technical observations to report? We promise not to hold them against you.

No issues here. Not using the popup...

half inch washer:

I don't think I've heard the same thing before, no, BUT - if I did i may have chalked it off. This I noticed b/c it's consistent. Yeah, I only tuned in an hour ago - if earlier, I could hit the 128k stream inWinamp and see what happens to compare. ANyway, it's not something that would make ME not listen. Hell the first time I thought it was a weird track!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm
Doug Schulkind:

Good clean fun, Jesse. Thanks!

@h.i.w.
I'm guessing that the flash player is not constructed to handle this kind of switchamiggery.
Avatar 9:02pm
Jesse K:

thanks everyone, have a great week there!
