After seeing that movie, many of my friends wanted to see Shuggie Otis live. Unlike Rodrigues, Shuggie live these days is missing a spark. Kind of uninteresting considering the length of time since his II album was first recorded. Shuggie has not continued to evolve and be inspired. I don't blame him, I understand. He's had it rough.But I don't think I would go see Shuggie Otis play live any time soon.

After seeing that movie, many of my friends wanted to see Shuggie Otis live. Unlike Rodrigues, Shuggie live these days is missing a spark. Kind of uninteresting considering the length of time since his II album was first recorded. Shuggie has not continued to evolve and be inspired. I don't blame him, I understand. He's had it rough.But I don't think I would go see Shuggie Otis play live any time soon.
