for some reason these stories are my favorite, I replay them in my head in the shower on occasion

Sort of should be expanded to include "kinda," "kind of," and "lil bit." I pretty much never say "sort of." I say "kinda" a lot though.

I watch PBS and I have cable. This Old House, Woodwright's Shop, and Austin City Limits!

I made a mistake and got a UHF antennae and not a UHF/VHF so I can't get channel Thirteen. I used to get NJTV, but a few weeks ago, it disappeared.

My local PBS (and maybe yours too Chris) still plays an awful lot of Lawrence Welk.

I hate them and love them for it. Mostly hate.

Last time I went to Saratoga, there was a horse with a simpsons joke for a name. Artie R.R.

Weren't Roy Rogers & Dale Evans a couple?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm
Chris in TX via RI:

I haven't seen Lawrence Welk in yeeeaaars. I used to watch it on WGBH with my grandparents while consuming ice cream sodas in the 90s.

At a certain point, the doctor will schedule a date for induction or a c-section. My sister was a week overdue and was scheduled. She went home, mowed the lawn on a riding mower, and the vibration must've triggered something. My favorite nephew was born later that day.

That's a story Dan B, I got a sister too. The only bone I broke was on a riding mower. For some reason I didn't want to tell anyone at school I was mowing the lawn - I feared I seemed country to them, I was a cheerleader at the time. I said I caught my finger in the car door.

Mike East:

my wife lied about my baby's due date, so everyone thinks my daughter was a week late, but actually she was right on time. Please don't tell anyone

that seems like a great idea Mike... i may have to write that down

holding people down gets boring after a while - much better to set them free and then take a look - usually thats when the weird shit starts to happen - lucky when it doesn't

Interesting story, bklyn. Based on earlier comments, I can't picture you as the cheerleader type.
