Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm Parq:

I remember seeing Chilton do a stand-up version of "Letter" on TV in the 70s, just him and an acoustic guitar on Don Kirshner or some such thing. The Big Star version is a natural stop in the progression. Thanks for playing it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar 2:05pm Joe B:

Hey Nate!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10pm Nate K:

I thought Rock & Roll Submarine was one of the more pleasant surprises of 2011. Of course, I didn't hate Exit the Dragon either, so maybe I'm biased to UO.
Avatar 2:11pm Tom from Detroit:

Whoa I hope that Woggles concert is the 26/27 not the 30th.
Avatar 2:12pm Joe B:

Hey Tom, no, I am airing it the 30th, they are coming in the 26th.

Nate, I agree, a nice surpise!
  2:12pm John L.:

I sold a Fabulous Poodles cd, used, for 50 bucks on line, so someone wants them.
  2:12pm Mike Sin:

Walking up Lexington Ave. listening to the Urge Overkill track on my phone. Good time listening as usual. Except for the overcoat in April. Can't wait to start dialing in WFMU from the beach this year!

Howdy Joe and all Belockers! Listening Trifecta today- 91.1 while running the beautiful windy SouthShore of Satan Island;TuneIn phone app during ensuing shower & FMU.org flash as I type. Guess I should jump in the car, head north & west and add 90.1 & 91.9!
Congrats on your trifecta show last week. Why can't all interviewee's be as crazy great as Sylvain Sylvain.

  2:49pm Ralphine:

I saw Cary & Cockrell at Merlefest several years ago. They closed one of their sets with an OUTSTANDING cover of "When I Paint My Masterpiece" that was one of the highlights of the festival for me.
Avatar 👻 2:50pm David Shortell:

Ribeye Brothers fans might want to know about the one-night-only reunion of the SHOCK MOMMIES (whose rhythm section was later in Monster Magnet and is now in the Ribeye Brothers).
It's this Saturday at the Brighton Bar (121 Brighton Avenue, Long Branch, NJ).
Avatar 2:51pm Joe B:
