Most people wouldn't believe it, but a cartoon called Adventure Time might be the best thing on TV... that is, if you like David Lynch-ian surreality mixed with comedy, tragic backstories, suspense, a bit of romance, and fart jokes.

Guitarist/composer Alexander Turnquist uses his 12-string acoustic as his main tool in creating dramatic, emotionally engaging music with an experimental approach from the onset. Alexander Turnquist's latest disc, "Like Sunburned Snowflakes" focuses on intense guitar-harmonics wafting over you in minimalist waves. Guitarist Eric Carbonara take a slightly more traditionalist approach to his playing, incorprating Roma-Flamenco styles but infuses the music with noise & electro-acoustic elements. The Paradise Abyss is Eric Carbonara’s newest album, a solo effort written on a friction peg flamenco guitar. Both Turnquist and Carbonara were slatd to play Pete's Candy store in Brooklyn with David Copenhafer that Monday night.
