"Perrett is influenced by Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd and his eyeliner-look and tendency to disappear share similarities with the reclusive Barrett." Maybe I was hearing a bit of Syd in him. The Only Ones are an acclaimed band, who have recently re-formed and toured apparently.
