  12:24am
Skirkie:

Holy crap this is great.
  12:25am
Matt from Springfield:

Come Hoof & Mouth time, someone should sing a "New York City" or other such song as "Jersey City", if no one's done that already :)
Avatar 12:25am
Therese:

It started on Journal Square!
  12:25am

  12:29am
Epply:

I love this Shorty Warren song and don't have a copy of it. I wish I did not literally quit my job the week before the storm so I could pledge again.
  12:29am
Matt from Springfield:

San Antone Jules! :)
To answer your question, KP...! High praise for JC!
  12:31am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Speaking of premiums...PLEDGE! You can get Therese's 2012 premium - "We Are Your Friends" - that has a bunch of intergalactic tunes. And an illustrated cover featuring Therese working her magic from the bridge of a starship!
  12:31am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Hi Julie! Satan Tonio!!!
  12:36am
Matt from Springfield:

FM back, 90.1 Mount Hope too?! Awesome!
Well, the PATH took a huge hit, but good to know it's starting back up again.
  12:37am
Skirkie:

Blerg, I had to take a very expensive cab through the Lincoln last night after the train stopped running. I'm disappointed with my haggling skills.
  12:38am
sugarwolf:

Yay, I can hear you on 90.1 again!!
  12:39am
dan in falls church VA:

hey, does anyone know about a rock opera called Everyhead performed in the US in 1975, the studio audio of which wasn't released until 2009 by Akarma??: http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/6780221/a/Everyhead%3A+A+Rock+Opera.htm http://errny-progrockplazerna.blogspot.com/2012/11/stan-zipperman-everyhead.html
  12:39am
Julie:

Yay Tamaryn
  12:39am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

So PATH isn't going to Grove, Exchange and Hoboken?
  12:40am
KP:

I am now a path person. Sandy dropped our offices in JC.
  12:40am
Matt from Springfield:

HOORAY sugarwolf!
  12:41am
Matt from Springfield:

@Therese: Since you forgot to hit "repeat" and played into the next track, you have to tell us what album your bed music is from :)
Avatar 12:41am
Therese:

It's stopping at Journal Square, Grove, 14th, 23rd & 33rd. I think the Newark & Harrison stations are opening tomorrow
  12:41am
dan in falls church VA:

I <3 Tamaryn and she played in NE DC tonight but I didn't make it due to the absence of reasonable transportation thereto and especially back therefrom. She played with Young Prisms, whom I LOVE. Frustrating.

Thank God I can tune in here to medicate my condition of frustration!!!
Avatar 12:42am
Therese:

Matt- that's Pling! from Shuggie Otis's Inspiration Information
  12:43am
Skirkie:

I don't get why it doesn't stop at Christopher and 9th but can still roll through those stations.

Are there zombies or something?
  12:43am
KP:

Grove is our stop, then shuttle to Port Liberte.
  12:45am
Matt from Springfield:

Shuggie Otis? Didn't realize, that's friggin awesome!
Avatar 12:46am
Therese:

Skirkie- I've heard that the Christopher & 9th Street platforms are too narrow to accommodate the extra traffic, but I don't think that came from an official source
  12:47am
sugarwolf:

skirkie, PATH website says it's because those stations are too small to handle overcrowding.

ha, JINX!!
  12:47am
Julie:

I saw Tamaryn (with Young Prisms) on Friday, fantastic, packed house
  12:48am
Skirkie:

Eh, it's some sort of zombie rat thing. Trust me.
  12:48am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I had hoped to come up there last week for the Rezillos show at Maxwell's. Storm Sandra altered my plans. :(
  12:48am
sugarwolf:

I guess this means I am taking the bus into the city next month instead of the train.
  12:49am
amEdeo:

Yeseseseses. Ahhhh. Yes.
Avatar 12:50am
Therese:

Have faith, Sugarwolf! The trains will be back...
  12:55am
Matt from Springfield:

Trippy dog, this Golden Retriever!
  12:56am

Bus at night. Awful.

@Julie, where did you see Tamaryn & Young Prisms? I don't know what city u live in!
  1:02am
Julie:

NYC..they were at mercury lounge, they also recorded a set for my show so I saw them at the station too :)
  1:02am
Julie:

"put them underwear"
  1:12am

Very solo-George style of "Bye Bye Love".
@Julie: Sweet!
  1:23am

Oh wow, Vicki Carr, goes Nashville! And sings Nilsson! Choice obscurity here, Therese!
  1:24am

  1:31am

So many nice catalogue tracks of early Elton. Thanks Therese!
  1:32am

Hello everyone, thanks for a nice show so far Therese.
  1:39am
fred von helsing:

All-Finnish show, cool, will promote heavily on faceborg :-D
  1:40am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Dave Hill's book - "Tasteful Nudes" - is a pleasant and amusing read. Everybody clap!
  1:52am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Speaking of movies...have you seen "Skyfall" yet?
  1:54am
KP:

Just saw "Nothing Can Hurt Me," the Big Star doc. Quite excellent.
  1:55am
Matt from Springfield:

YES BadGuy! Great success, highly rec. Action packed, cyberwar theme, great appearance from Javier Bardem.
Avatar 1:56am
Therese:

I have not! But that's on this week's agenda.
  1:56am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Ooh...I need to see that, KP. When I lived in Seattle I had the good fortune of seeing the Big Star lineup that included Jon and Ken from The Posies.
  1:57am
Matt from Springfield:

And hello there Destroit, Fred von H!
  1:58am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

@Matt: I really enjoyed it as well.

@Therese: You're in for a treat!
  1:59am
KP:

It was great. WFMU gets a credit. Gaylord DJ'd a party across the street, which i did not attend but did say hello. And drummer Jody Stephens was there.
Avatar 2:00am
Therese:

The Big Star doc is definitely high on the list as well.
  2:02am
KP:

There's footage of WFMU record fair in the film.
  2:03am
Matt from Springfield:

I'd like to see the Big Star film as well.
  2:08am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I hope that Big Star doc comes to Dallas.
Jody produced some stuff by a band from Dallas called Funland. Will Johnson of Centro-matic was the drummer of that band. I don't think the Jody-produced recordings were ever released.
  2:13am
KP:

Only drawback of night was film was so long the iive comment session was cut very short. Jody only said one thing.
  2:25am
fred von helsing:

Da Gov is in da house? :)
  2:28am
Matt from Springfield:

*flips out lighter*
  2:33am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Aerosmith's "Night In The Ruts"???
  2:33am
Matt from Springfield:

Never enough BOSS!!!
  2:34am
fred von helsing:

hey, _someone_ at fmu has to play it !
  2:34am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

It's nice to hear Springsteen tunes that haven't been played a bazillion times on album/classic rock stations. Keep playin' them deep, dusty Boss cuts!
  2:35am
KP:

This is always a comforting show.
  2:36am
fred von helsing:

caught his closing concert of the tour, it was excellent, he went way past the official quittin' time
  2:38am
KP:

Like wiry everybody else, I jump off with Bruce at monster stage. Pre Born to Run all day. Every big band I'm same way, feel they give up something to make that leap.
  2:43am
Destroit:

Holy Balm track is great.
  2:50am
fred von helsing:

Holy Balm yes
  2:53am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Do you think MBV will actually release a new album by year's end?
  2:54am
KP:

This is My bloody valentine? Like!
  2:56am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

My Bloody Valentine a.k.a. The band responsible for the permanent ring in my ears
Avatar 2:57am
Therese:

Yup, they sure are LOUD!
  2:59am
Matt from Springfield:

Thanks Therese, glad to catch all of your show!
Enjoy amEdeo's show, otherwise, have a good night!
  2:59am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

They were so loud the sound created a breeze.
  3:00am
KP:

Nite, Therese. Nice one.
  3:01am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Never Say Never Again?
  3:02am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

It was Thunderball (which was remade as NSNA).

Have a great week, Therese! Same to all the listeners and commenters. Until next time...
  3:03am
Matt from Springfield:

Save it for your show, amEdeo!!
