Hey Fred, bet you'd enjoy Phillip's earlier set in this show. Speaking of clocks, I was hearing about a radio station out in California where the hippie station manager took all the clocks out of the control room years ago so that the DJs would have no idea how long they'd been playing songs...enforced free-form indulgence!

Nat - we should have some Tom Johnson in the FMU record library, he recorded for Lovely Music (Robert Ashley, Alvin Lucier, Gordon Mumma, Pauline Oliveros etc label in the 80s) and records on that label came to FMU via the late great New Music Distribution Service (NMDS).

Tom Johnson's Galileo is really cool to see performed live: 5 pendulums struck on their highest points, generating all kinds of rhythmic ratios. Pierre Berthet -- another personal favorite -- performs it really well
