	5:29pm northguineahills: If you've haven't, Graham Lock's book about Anthony Braxton's UK tour in the early 80s (w/ Crisspell, Hemingway, Atchul), is a thoroughly a great read. I highly recommend it.

	5:37pm northguineahills: I'm in the same boat w/ james Ilgenfritz, I went from BIIMen to SY Dirty. (I was a late bloomer when it came to music).
	5:41pm Cecile: I remember going "whuh?" I was way old by that time and it was weird seeing a lot of the bands I followed on MTV after they'd been around for a long time.
	5:45pm Carmichael: What kind of work do you do, NGH? Although at this point, you're probably broadening your scope.
	5:48pm northguineahills: I'm a geographer (GIS Analyst/Location Intelligence Consultant). NYC jobs also want me to be a code monkey (which I haven't done in 10 years). There are plenty of jobs outside NYC, So, it looks like I'll have to relocate.
	5:50pm Cecile: Lots of people need GIS in the midwest.
	5:52pm northguineahills: The only problem about relocating is I don't have a car, and my savings minus my 401k is exhausted. (making it harder to purchase a vehicle)
	5:53pm northguineahills: FL, DC, TX, and CO have the most jobs in my field.
	5:58pm Carmichael: Take a good look at the public sector, if you haven't already. Lots of government agencies are electronifying themselves these days.
