  9:10am
ausmanx:

evening from sydney Scott, Cheri, Andrew... editing subtitles on a French film, so i'll post some randomly as the hour wears on, perhaps... "a promise of sensuality and abandon..."

  9:42am
BSI:

rare day, i get to stream the ear-candy, just like old times...
  9:45am
Cheri Pi:

Hey BSI- it's been a while eh?
  9:48am
common:

@ausmanx: how do I get a job editing subtitles for french films. seriously.
  9:53am
ausmanx:

i admit, it's a nice job. and you get to listen to FMU while you're doing it! there's a good tv station here in Aus which shows lots of foreign language, so i've even done things like icelandic over the years... "It would be easier
to open a bar."
  9:54am
BSI:

Too long without a fix.
Still on the hunt for permanent fulltime: Picked up some contract work at a design house but streaming is not wise: them computers crash whenever a butterfly perishes in Sao Paolo...
  9:58am
Cecile:

hi, everyone!
Ah, ausmanx, I'd love to be in Sydney right now...
That city changed my life for the better.
  10:07am
HEAT:

HEY EVERYBODY!
  10:07am
Cecile:

  10:08am
Cecile:

hi, heat!
  10:10am
ausmanx:

i think it's a good place, cecile, though the locals criticise, as all locals do... where are you now? "Tell her that anger
brought me back to life"
  10:10am
HEAT:

Hi Cecile!! I think I saw you elsewhere on these chats. I am so glad this chat function is here, it is a lot of fun
  10:13am
Cecile:

I am in Minneapolis now. Same here. It's a good place although I criticize it because I guess I am a local now...after 22 yrs.

Yeah, I'm kind of omnipresent on weekdays, heat. :/
  10:18am
ausmanx:

minnesotans seem to get about... i have friends in England and Israel who grew up there... gets cold though, huh? looks nice in movies though!
  10:20am
Cecile:

its' really cold, and there are beautiful parks and tons of bikes and they really do have a good artistic community here. And really good food.
  10:21am
Cecile:

I still consider my self a Michiganian/gander.

Someone joked that Minneapolis was a good place to be from. That might be true.
  10:22am
common:

thanks ausmanx sorry for the delay had to do stupid work shit.
  10:23am
ausmanx:

famous Minnesotans? bob dylan is a good place to start...
  10:25am
BSI:

Having grown up in DC and MD, to me Minnesota appears to be as large as Europe. Plus about six elevenths of Asia.
  10:26am
Cecile:

apart from the obvious craig taborn, the coen brothers, comedian dana gould, nick swardson, diablo cody (sort of), David Carr at the NY Times, Jane Brody...
  10:28am
Cecile:

these are folks who have left.
There are plenty of folks still around. :D
  10:28am
ausmanx:

half past midnight and the nd of the shift... thanks scott and good evening cecile and everyone! "A face needs a good frame or no one looks at it."
  10:28am
Cecile:

It is a huge state. 14 hours from top to tail. Michigan is nearly as tall.
