A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

ausmanx:

pulp have been around a long time, but no one knew who they were till the mid-90s, whereas PSB had an immediate hit in 1984, so in terms of the zeitgeist Trouble, you're right, PSB hit it ten years before Pulp did

I prefer Foobar2000 to iTunes and Winamp. Right now I use ziepod for podcasts but I'm not impressed with it.

Good morning Trouble, better late than never...

Jennique:

I went to the Yayoi Kusama show at the Whitney. Although I saw all her paintings and sculptures I was not able to get into the Infinity Room, which is what initially drew me there. If you do go, get there first thing in the morning and get a ticket for admission to the Infinity Room. They sell out fast, but at least you are allowed 10 minutes to yourself inside.

BTW, thanks for playing the Cramps. I miss Lux.
  10:25am
annie:

i'm such a luddite that winamp is da bomb so far. i think i investigated foobar long ago... winamp also allows for transfer of itunes data..
