I wanted to hear Steve Wilson's remix (traditional definition) of Tarkus but the playlist cues it up at the end of Gentle Giant, and you can't just skip live Gentle Giant, and if you're going to listen to GG, you should first warm up with some heavy-duty bop like Blakey...
Anyhow, Wilson knocks it out of the park -- there's a shitload of shit happening in Tarkus but Wilson has no difficulty fitting all the instruments onto the soundstage. This is the album Tarkus should sound like, of course I remain nostalgic for the original sonic pileup which is Eddie Offord's masterwork, but Wilson's mix is so dynamic and all the parts are so clear!
Anyhow, best damned set! Tarkus is long enough, but now I can't imagine listening to it "out of sequence" in that 40 minute set.
