I think we were holidaying in Europe on the 1st of May before Karl was even a twinkle in Mrs Marx's eye (Beltane, Walpurgis etc) The commies just co-opted it a bit like the Christians co-opted the pagan festivals in late December, April etc etc. Anyways, great music Liz, really enjoyed the last 15 minutes or so since switching on.
