Listener comments!

  3:16pm
DCE:

I tip my hat to you, Fabio, in a sign of greeting, virtually.
  3:17pm
DroolingDJs:

Mr. Giant Man sounded extra crisp today
  3:18pm
Cecile:

Hola, all. I will have to bail for a bit in a bit, but when does the battle royale begin?
  3:18pm
DroolingDJs:

I believe around 430
  3:21pm
Caryn:

Fabulous start to the show today!
  3:22pm
Cheri Pi:

Is this the battle? Because you're winning! Whoever you are...
  3:23pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Fabio, Clay, make it a clean, dirty contest..
  3:23pm
The Turtles:

How do you determine the champ in "The battle of the bands?"
  3:24pm
maxim:

Om Sinai Advaitic Songs yes
  3:24pm
sensei:

Sweep the leg!
  3:25pm
DroolingDJs:

I think the winner is determined by some strange combination of a points system mixed with pigeon math
  3:29pm
G.W.:

Fuzzy math & I.D. card?
  3:29pm
Cecile:

later! be back for the battle.
  3:29pm
kat330:

Hi, Fabio! Will be listening and eagerly awaiting the Pidge-io duel!
  3:34pm
kat330:

That one horn bit sounded like cats I've owned just before upchucking a hairball.
  3:38pm
Caryn:

Liking the "Day Tripper" mixed with "The Party" vibe.
  3:39pm
kat330:

Caryn! Been a while. Hope your time away was a good time.
  3:41pm
tim from champaign:

Is Clay giving Fabio a head start?
  3:41pm
kat330:

'69.
  3:42pm
Caryn:

Kat! Yeah, a lovely time on our little island and then in Turku (sporting my collection of WFMU tees the whole time). But an unfortunate after-effect is that I now have the flu and a fever of about 103.
  3:45pm
kat330:

@Caryn: Oh, crud. I had a sinus infection at the end of last week, and a fever that broke almost as quickly as it arrived, but as recently as that was, I can feel your pain. Thoughts for a quick recover }}}}}}}}}}}}}
  3:47pm
kat330:

@tim: Let's hope "start" is involved at least. ;)
  3:50pm
northguineahills:

am I here?
  3:53pm
Caryn:

Thanks, kat! Funnily, I can pinpoint the exact moment I got this: my mother coughed in my face in the elevator last week. But I can't exactly feel mad at her about it. Especially as she was hobbling on her crutches and couldn't really be expected to cover her mouth very well.
  3:53pm
kat330:

@ngh: AFAIK you are. Any champipple to pass around, Tim?
  3:54pm
nic:

this is awesome_love her work
  3:56pm
tim from champaign:

@Kat: Nope. But I do have a bottle of Tripple to share. That's tequila and ripple. Fred G. Sanford hepped me to this drink.
  3:57pm
kat330:

This really nice, trippy music may be all the intoxicant needed.
  3:58pm
DCE:

ngh, you most certainly are not. you are THERE>>>>>>>>>>
  4:01pm
kat330:

Are these the voices of Clay and Fabio pre-duel?
  4:01pm
northguineahills:

<<*<< <<*<<
  4:01pm
mark:

Was that recorded in the alley behind my house? Sounded familiar.
  4:02pm
Caryn:

That was like the last hour of a family wedding: a drunk uncle and his wife talking about the dry salmon half asleep...
  4:03pm
kat330:

NGH, try double streaming this one. :)
  4:03pm
Matt from Springfield:

Gearing up for the battle!

Hello everyone!
  4:04pm
kat330:

Aha, here is our Math You Up point keeper! (well, maybe)
  4:06pm
Matt from Springfield:

Kat Kettlewater!
Actually I don't know who is going to be the impartial pointkeeper, but they have announced that there will be one.
  4:09pm
kat330:

Fabio, you may have a great advantage lulling us all into your hypnotic trance before Clay arrives. Loving it though!
  4:09pm
?:

If it's anything like the previous duels, each DJ will seem to have a different scoring system/
  4:10pm
DroolingDJs:

There are subliminal voting instructions in what Fabio is playing
  4:12pm
Matt from Springfield:

Perhaps more importantly--someone needs to UPDATE the playlist! Last time it was hopelessly behind what had actually been playing!
  4:14pm
kat330:

Maybe there's a volunteer or intern who could be spared for that duty?
  4:15pm
DCE:

keep wishin' folks
  4:15pm
Carmichael:

Late for the DJ Smackdown. Who's winning?
  4:17pm
DroolingDJs:

The Fabio Pregame Show is on the air now... smackdown soon
  4:17pm
Matt from Springfield:

The Pidge has entered the building!
  4:17pm
Caryn:

Jerry Maguire, DJs!
  4:17pm
northguineahills:

The scoring system for this this dj duel will be analogous to the scoring system in Calvinball.
  4:18pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Carm: You're not late! Smackdown runs from 4:30 to 7 today!
  4:18pm
Mike East:

We, the listeners, are the winners.
  4:18pm
Matt from Springfield:

Show - US - the MUSIC!!!
  4:19pm

What is this, an electronics sales duel??
  4:21pm

Let's get ready to rumblllllllllllllllle!
  4:21pm
Lulu:

The Dynamic Duo Face Off: Clay v. Fabio
  4:22pm
glenn:

it's like playing punch buggy, what with the arbitrary rule making and points awarding and shit.
  4:22pm
kat330:

Driving rhythm, but is it danceable? Hm, I'll give it an 80.
  4:22pm
Matt from Springfield:

Oh! The rules for points.

Same rules as last time? Whole numbers only, 1 to 10?
No negative points - if you don't like it, they get nothing.
  4:22pm
DCE:

Clay on the attack with brass!!
  4:22pm
DroolingDJs:

2 points!
  4:22pm
Matt from Springfield:

@kat: Do you mind an 8 out of 10? :)
  4:23pm
DCE:

6 pts
  4:23pm
Matt from Springfield:

+6, good energetic start, powerful brass and slightly psych feel, like earliest Chicago.
  4:24pm
kat330:

@glenn: Hey, dude, I got to see your "geographical" confusion over on an old BDN playlist (Charlie Lewis GTDR). I razzed you this morning, but know I'm only keeding having made a similar blunder a couple of times myself. :)
  4:24pm
glenn:

buzzcocks for the win.
  4:24pm
Cheri Pi:

**DING DING DING*** Points please.
  4:24pm
paula pc:

you cannot lose with the Buzzcocks
  4:24pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Buzzcocks!!! :)
  4:24pm
Chris from DC:

+10 for Buzzcocks, and thanks for this one
  4:25pm
common:

5 points for clay pigeon, 5 for fabio
  4:25pm
kat330:

@MathYou: I was trying for an old American Bandstand feel, not really assessing points.
  4:25pm
Caryn:

I'll give Clay a 6.
  4:25pm
Timb:

Timb listening in Fort Lauderdale... I've been looking forward to this for a long time. Can I be a celebrity judge?
  4:25pm
12539:

Full points for Buzzcocks (10?).
  4:25pm
kat330:

Yeah, sorry, Clay, I have to give it to Fabio here, too.
  4:25pm
duke:

+8 for Buzzcocks
  4:25pm
DCE:

this is the point where I stop doing anything resembling work
but I'm feeling stingy...6 pts
  4:26pm
Matt from Springfield:

+8 Buzzcocks
  4:26pm
trsh:

How about banking, "I was making a snack" "I had to pee" points.
  4:26pm
Timb:

Did the first track count or not? I think Clay just wanted to have a contest theme song.
  4:26pm
Caryn:

Hmm, it's the Buzzcocks, but not one of their best ones.... so, I'll go for a 7.
  4:26pm
Robert:

Everybody's Happy is so bad, "On with the Show", weak as it was, beats it. It's like a race, and Fabio's going backwards slower than Mr. Pigeon.
  4:27pm
DroolingDJs:

i guess fab couldn't get away with playing the buzzcock's orgasm addict.... 5 pts for fab
  4:27pm
northguineahills:

I have a feeling I won't hear any 2 Live Crew diced and (dj) screwed, b/c that would be worth +eleventy!!! points.
  4:27pm
Ike:

Puzzle gets +3 points -- not completely horrible. Buzzcocks a bit overplayed... only +5.
  4:27pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Timb: Like Fabio said, the contest began there.
Only fair, after an hour of Fabio, Clay got the first shot, to "cleanse your palate" as it were.
  4:27pm
Timb:

First round: Clay 7 / Fab 10
  4:27pm
al alex exand ander:

fabio took first round
  4:28pm
common:

it's going to be a tie.
  4:28pm
jojo:

i thought this was the old monday night football song, that song was better
  4:28pm
Robert:

We need a column on the playlist to indicate whether a cut is in the duel or not, and if so whose shot it was.
  4:28pm
DCE:

swamp boogie rock with a huge nod to Lynyrd Skynyrd? 3 pts
  4:28pm
Carmichael:

1st round is a tie. Who the hell is this? Head East? Molly Hatchet?
  4:29pm
Matt from Springfield:

Is this ZZ Top? +3, shows technique but not one of their best.
  4:29pm
kat330:

It will always be a tie. They're equally loveable DJs. :)
  4:29pm
DroolingDJs:

though clay was bringing tons of new music!!? 5 pts for playing southern rock on wfmu
  4:29pm
Caryn:

Giving this a 3 (almost went for a 2, but I want to leave room for lower scores).
  4:29pm
duke:

Who is this? +2 Don't especially like it.
  4:29pm
DCE:

my guess is this is Molly Hatchet, but I'm not an authority on this stuff
  4:29pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Robert: EVERYTHING from here on out is IN the duel--unless both Fabio and Clay agree to omit it from the total.
  4:30pm
mark:

Wait a minute ... a Chicago soundalike and now Molly Hatchet. Are you laying down Clay?
  4:30pm
Carmichael:

I'm waiting for Clay's glam rock response.
  4:30pm
jojo:

the irony is super thin already
  4:30pm
PKNY:

Thumbs up on the ass kickin'n Southern rock.
  4:30pm
David:

Molly Hatchet on WFMU -- there is a God!
  4:30pm
Robert:

Are we supposed to quantify each decision?
  4:30pm
Timb:

Exceptional track by Clay on this one.
  4:30pm
Honey Kettlewater:

Who brings a hatchet to a duel??
  4:30pm
DCE:

oh, well, Fabio obviously kills w this...10
  4:31pm

how bout we don't overthink this whole thing, eh guys?
  4:31pm
nyoukis:

beefheart lands clay on his ass.
  4:31pm

Beefheart +10
  4:31pm
Lulu:

I think that Puzzle song was the best one so far.
  4:32pm
paula pc:

Beefheart > Hatchet, sorry Clay!
  4:32pm
George of Troy:

Thanks Fabio, now I don't have to pour bleach in my ears after that Molly Hatchet track.
  4:32pm
Robert:

Still hard to keep track of which was whose, Matt.
  4:32pm
Carmichael:

Nothing's gonna beat Beefheart. Not even Zappa ....
  4:32pm
DroolingDJs:

fabio +6
  4:32pm
12539:

Beefheart + 7
  4:32pm
Captain B.:

Fabio is The MaN!
  4:32pm
das:

Pulling out all the stops +10
  4:32pm
mark:

A Beefheart beats the next 3 Clay picks.
  4:32pm
kat330:

Yes, Fabio aimed straight for my heart and nearly hit a bullseye with Mr. Van Vliet. (though Blue Million Miles would have clinched the contest :)
  4:32pm
paula pc:

so far I'd say Clay 8, Fabio 14 -- this Beefheart is so hard to beat
  4:32pm
Caryn:

Only giving this a 3. There are way better Beefheart tracks.
  4:33pm
Robert:

Electricity by 2 over Bounty.
  4:33pm
Matt from Springfield:

+5, not so familiar on Beefheart but this is a real mind-opener. Like where it's heading...
  4:33pm
Timb:

Strong round... Clay 9 / Fab 8
  4:33pm
al alex exand ander:

beefhart and hatchet ummm gotta go with fabio on this one agian clay plus 7 fabio 10
  4:34pm

  4:34pm

i love that beefheart! & yeah, um, molly hatchet? please, no more.
  4:34pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Robert: Don't worry whose songs are whose, points are awarded to the songs you hear. Just ID which song you're rating, and the pointkeeper (wherever we may find him/her) assigns to appro DJ.
  4:35pm
DroolingDJs:

Drooling DJs Unofficial Total: Clay=77, Fabio = 109

hubba:

One of your weaker jams Fab... this may help bolster some reluctant support for Clay...
  4:44pm
Carmichael:

Fabio, keep up with the music listings god dammit. I can't give a zero to something unless I know what it's called.
  4:45pm
DCE:

10 for gong
  4:45pm
steve:

wasnt that into the Avant Garde... id give it a 5
  4:45pm
Cecile:

I give this one a 5/10.
  4:45pm
Caryn:

Aha, it has Chuck in it! Thus, my 1 becomes a 5 automatically!
  4:46pm
Cecile:

not a gong fan.
  4:46pm
DCE:

bang a gong!
  4:46pm
Matt from Springfield:

Is this Gong? I also give a +7, nice jam, qualitative difference to Clay's but not really better or worse.
  4:46pm
northguineahills:

This is one of the better Gong tracks, +8.
  4:46pm
Carmichael:

I would score it higher just for the reference to Earl Camembert from SCTV news.
  4:47pm
duke:

This is a good followup to the Avant Garde +5 Gong Show
  4:47pm
paula pc:

9 to Clay
  4:47pm
kat330:

I think I'll be a household contrarian and go with Clay in these two matchups. I really like Gong's "Oily Way," but not this so much.
  4:47pm
DroolingDJs:

3 points to fab
  4:47pm
DCE:

also a good reference to a band that hadn't quite been formed yet
  4:47pm

This song gets 10 points!
  4:47pm
Cecile:

OK, it was Chuck Woolery. Why did you mix me up by mentioning the black motorcycle jacket group, Clay? :(
  4:47pm
Caryn:

I'm giving Gong a 6. (5 for the song, 1 for the title)
  4:48pm
steve:

Gong +7... like everything but the vocals
  4:48pm

  4:48pm
al alex exand ander:

clay gets 8 for avant garde fabio gets TEN for GONG
  4:48pm
monte:

yeah, same 6 to this as to clay's track.
  4:48pm
hubba:

Prefer the Gong, but not the route I would've taken, both of you... 3 for Clay, can't knock the guy for appreciating something, and 4 for Fab, he could've dug in deep, but instead he met Clay on the court and scrapped one out... come you two... bring it!!!!
  4:48pm
DCE:

haha, separated emoticon! why does that make me giggle so?
  4:49pm
Philo Gristle:

Love this Gong album, and particularly this track, "FOHAT Digs Holes in Space." Hello, al.

  4:49pm
Matt from Springfield:

Welcome kata! We're only in the first half-hour, so you still have plenty of time!
  4:49pm
Timb:

Who picked what on that last round? I score a tie 5/5 on that one.
  4:49pm

I love the Prog fear guitar. And it sounds like Wire.

  4:52pm

I'm matching them up 1-for-1 at a time, meaning Fabio will have to pull a great one out next to beat the King.
  4:52pm
Caryn:

While pondering my score, I'll tell you of the hand-made sign my local record store had out on the pavement today, advertising their new wares: "New Testament (the band, not the book)".
  4:52pm
George of Troy:

Crimson is Clay's pick? He must have an ulterior motive.
  4:52pm

Now it is like a DJ relay... or tag... is the Crimson Clay's? Nice volley from the Gong, a little more aggressive... good call.

@Cheri Pi: Good tip, although I still might spell out lighter, depends which board I'm on!

KC is a bit meh, chunky & knobby: 6. Too bad I missed Buzz and Beef, both pure 10s.

yah, gotta agree with kat here.

Cecile, your air drumming is remarkably improved.
  4:59pm
Matt from Springfield:

Aphrodite's Child is a good band--7 Trumpets, +7 points.
  4:59pm
Caryn:

Hmm, kinda digging it. "7 Trumpets" gets an 8.
  4:59pm
Daniel:

Cecile, it's against international treaties to hate Vangelis. Your 4 doesn't count.
  4:59pm
hubba:

Clay 7... Fabio 5... namesake alone won't do it... expecting better things from both of you, just make sure you curl the toes on the next lift, otherwise it will look as though you're just phoning it in.
  4:59pm
ERD:

Totally have to go with Gong and Aphrodite's Child! That Avant Garde was weak and the Crimson is too 'dude'

Speaking of air musicianship -- did you see the International Air Guitar this year, Caryn?
  5:00pm

Wow, Fabio hits it back hard. Another tie??
  5:00pm

Aphrodite's Child is not doing it for me. +3 I think Clay gets this round.
  5:00pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Daniel: Although several people express hatred of Vangelis all the time. Only if the Mary Wing Security Council (MWSC) decides to take action, does it really hold any consequences.
  5:01pm
glenn:

3 for aphrodite's child.
  5:01pm
Caryn:

@kat: no, missed it. But I saw some amateur competitors at my cousin's wedding. ;)
  5:01pm

@Carm: An appropriate response by Fabio, but I think Clay still wins this round.

7 for Aphrodite's Child, actually dig them more then Crimson. I Know, I'm a heretic.
  5:02pm
Philo Gristle:

Aphrodite's Child was awesome for the moment we had two streams going on at 2 seconds off the neat... lost it when the lyrics kicked in, tho.

See, if you'd played "Lady", it would've been a 10, but this only gets a 7.
  5:15pm

I had a roommate with an incontinent cat named Styx. His meow sounded like the moans of a dying frog. But that was more appealing to the ear than this song.
  5:15pm
Robert:

Is the 2nd entry in each round to be judged as a "response" to the 1st? Because Warm Leartherette was excellent in that regard, a +10 for Fabio.

PJ/Curt - I think the same could be said for Fabio: this is what he really likes. Granted, in this context, he should be a little more "accepting," or something, of his non-fav-favorites.

@Matt: yes indeed. Or when washing my face in the morning. Basically, it's a go-to song for me. Love the lyrics.
@Philo: love the Laughner version. Also quite partial to the Venus in Furs version, mainly because Bernard Butler and Jonny Greenwood kill the guitar parts.

Ok, my mother who is 88, really likes most of Dusty's play selection, (outside Slipknot) while my son who is 19 is really into everything Fabio is playing, while I, at age 60, am 70% with Fabio and 30% with Dusty. What this means, I have no idea, but my family is Rock and Roll, the excellent, the good, the bad and the ugly, not to mention everything in between. Actually, we all actually hated Slipknot, which means, well, absolutely nothing I imagine. Great show, yep . . . indeed!

actually I have a thing for Gyllehaal, so I cannot accept that representation !
  6:47pm
George of Troy:

+100 to Fab for Rock and Roll Station.
  6:47pm
Art Smass:

Is this George Goebbels?
  6:47pm
Timb:

Spirit +6. Fab has 13 minutes to catch up.
  6:47pm
Philo Gristle:

Spirit 7, never heard it before.
  6:47pm
northguineahills:

spirit + 4
  6:47pm
DroolingDJs:

fabio is putting the 2nd string players on the field
  6:48pm
kata:

I'd classify that as a police state Night Al, dontcha think ?
  6:48pm
kat330:

@kata: Believe me, all three would be playing cross-politics -- works best that way. Friend David Clennon is about as leftwing as you can get, but he's superb at playing the prick in a suit.
  6:48pm
kata:

nevertheless I am impressed with your superior ability to spell his name correctly Kat !
  6:49pm
david:

Occupy was kept away from the convention venue, so as to keep them out of sight. But the crowd was 100s, not 1000s, with many waylaid by Isaac...
  6:49pm
KevinfromBayRidge:

Nature's Way...Out-McCartneyed McCartney! +8
  6:49pm
Night Al:

@kata fenced off and surrounded by riot troops.....you may be right.
  6:49pm
blee:

RNC in Florida. Another reason why that state is shaped like a cock.
  6:49pm
Fredericks:

This is dragging a bit, Fabio. +4
  6:49pm
hubba:

Hendrix - 6... not the jugular... Clay, nice AM jam... 7
  6:50pm
hubba:

Berrocal?
  6:50pm
Ray L:

Left wing can't be a prick in a suit? What about Bill Maher?
  6:50pm
PJ:

Don't know what this is, but I guess it's a good way to fill up studio time. +3
  6:50pm
david:

where are we in the comment count? will we break 1000 again?
  6:50pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Fuck the Police!!!
  6:50pm
Philo Gristle:

Don't dislike this, but kinda boring... shoulda gone with Sonic Youth's "Providence" for this kinda mood piece. 5
  6:50pm
Caryn:

You know, if Fabio had played "Memphis Psychosis" here, rather than earlier on in his show, he'd get more points. As it is, I'm getting bored, and giving it a 1.
  6:50pm
Matt from Springfield:

Never heard "Rock and Roll Station" before, without any context for this performance piece, I give it +5.
  6:50pm
steve:

this is a great way to end... +10 fabio
  6:51pm
PJ:

Should the funding appear, I think FMU should start an AM station with Clay as program director.
  6:51pm
kata:

snoozeville Fabio !
  6:51pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Kitty: Comin' straight from the underground!
  6:51pm
northguineahills:

Considering I like boring +5
  6:51pm
Timb:

I'll give Fabio's ambient piece a +5
  6:51pm
hubba:

That bicycle song is on the Parrallels album by Jacque Berrocal, but i don't think that version was it....
  6:52pm
DroolingDJs:

TOTALS: Clay=1175, Fabio=1381
  6:52pm
kat330:

@Ray L: I enjoy Maher myself. Guess the difference is a witless prick in a suit as opposed to someone quick-witted.
  6:53pm
kata:

last I checked Bill Maher was a neocon. Did he change again ? maybe I'm confusing him with that SNL guy who tried to have a politically themed show. what was his name ?
  6:53pm
hubba:

I hope this song is called "cheesesteaks."
  6:53pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

OK, Clay + 250
  6:54pm
PJ:

+2 for hair metal
  6:54pm
david:

@PJ, good idea. Weather on the 2s, traffic on the 3s...
  6:54pm
Timb:

Before Brittany Foxx I have Clay 91 vs Fab 98 for my personal tally.
  6:54pm
Matt from Springfield:

@PJ: That's what I've been saying! Should FMU acquire an AM station, they should have a WFMU-AM -- a FMU twist on traditional AM talk/news/sports, kind of "parody" of the other drivetime stations! Plus online streaming for international fans.

Clay P can go TOTAL morning zoo! Bronwyn could host a full length "Sportsy Talk" show!
  6:54pm
Caryn:

@kata: I think you're thinking Dennis Miller? Either way, pricks in suits. But rather quick-witted ones.
  6:54pm
northguineahills:

@kata: Dennis Miller
  6:54pm
Night Al:

ISAAC = Instigating Storm Advancing Against Conventioners
  6:54pm
kat330:

@kata: You're thinking of Dennis Miller I believe. Maher's always been a sharp-witted liberal AFAIK.
  6:54pm
kata:

No I don't want the contest to end !
  6:54pm
Ray L:

Colin Quinn?
  6:54pm
PJ:

I've changed my mind, this is a 0.
  6:54pm
Andrew Waterloo:

@kata, you're probably confusing Maher with Dennis Miller.
  6:55pm
Matt from Springfield:

+6, Clay first turned me on to Britny Fox, and though they are a hair band, they really give it their all.
  6:55pm
david:

ISAAC = I Sought Angsty Anarchist Chanters
  6:55pm
Night Al:

I told you guys weeks ago I secretly was wishing for a hurricane to hit the RNC.
  6:55pm
blee:

I'm going with Fabio as the winner for not playing nu metal or freedom rock. Clay, this is self destructive behavior. Do you want to talk about what's been bothering you?
  6:55pm
efd:

Maybe it's the NJ Transit ambience but I'm giving Clay 9 points for Britny Fox.
  6:55pm
kat330:

I always get my unison chime-in showing up last! OK, well, I'm trying to eat dinner and type at the same time...
  6:55pm
DroolingDJs:

clay +8 for variety
  6:55pm
efd:

Maybe it's the NJ Transit ambience but I'm giving Clay 9 points for Britny Fox.
  6:56pm
Fredericks:

Britny Fox +2 Guitar's okay but is sounds like Boston.
  6:56pm
Close Listener:

Clay needs to understand that the clichés that comfort some simply bore others.
  6:56pm
Ray L:

Dennis Miller -- hoo boy. Tried to watch his last HBO thing -- man, the guy stinks -- stinks bad. Did he get kicked in the head by a horse at some point?
  6:56pm
kat330:

Let's end on a track you BOTH love and agree on!
  6:56pm
Matt from Springfield:

All right, show coming to a close...what IS our final tally??
  6:56pm
Caryn:

Are we still supposed to give scores, or did it end with Jac Berrocal? If we're still scoring, that got a 2.
  6:57pm
hubba:

No Sabbath!? Clay wins!!!!
  6:57pm
kata:

thanks everyone, you're right. Anyways, they;re both turds.
  6:57pm
Philo Gristle:

Great show, fellas! Britny +3 (not awful) and whatever this is... 6
  6:57pm
Ray L:

I think we're going to have to call this a tie -- and schedule a tie-breaker same time next week.
  6:58pm
kat330:

Oh, guess that was the Fox.... or Strings.....
  6:58pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Night Al: I remember!

Since Fabio is way ahead anyway with 2 minutes left to go, I'll just say that this is a cool song!
  6:58pm
kat330:

No RUSH, Clay wins!
  6:58pm
DroolingDJs:

Current TOTALS: Clay=1218, Fabio=1397
  6:58pm
dinatekno:

YUK on the Britney Fox. Loving the Flame out - but then, I'm a burn out - LOL!!!!
  6:58pm
Philo Gristle:

I'm with Ray. Tie, and break it next week!!!
  6:58pm
12539:

101 Strings +5
  6:58pm
Timb:

I've scored a tie.
  6:58pm
Caryn:

@Ray L: heh! Still, comedy-wise, I still rank him above Norm Macdonald. Man, he stinks...
  6:58pm
Montessori School:

Winner? No winner! We're all failures just for competing :)
  6:59pm
kata:

Clay and Fab, you guys are NOT turds.
  6:59pm
Fredericks:

101 Strings +3
  6:59pm
northguineahills:

101 Strings, lol! + 7 for Britny Fox
+ 4 for 101 Strings.
  6:59pm
12539:

Next time, year by year!
  6:59pm
kat330:

Thank you both for a ton of fun!!
  6:59pm
Timb:

Final round: Clay 8 / Fab 6
  6:59pm
hubba:

Thanks dudes!!! You both rule the school!!!
  6:59pm
Caryn:

"Flame Out" kinda boring, so if we're still scoring, a 1.
  6:59pm
Matt from Springfield:

Another fun DJ Duel! Let's do it again!
Thanks Fabio! Thanks Clay!

Have a good night everyone! Hope you had as much fun as I did! Always Remember!
  6:59pm
blee:

Flame out: 10 points of awesome!
  7:01pm
Caryn:

There should be a "DJ War" show on the schedule weekly!
  7:06pm
Marmalade Kitty:
