@jeff in puna, sea turtle work in the mid 90's brought me there and it was really amazing. there's a doc, red turtle rising, about the project that's still ongoing. we camped out at kamehame, apua point, halape and punalu'u to monitor the hawaiian hawksbill sea turtles. i haven't been there in a long time. we left nyc not long ago also, but to chicago!
