I LOVE Radiohead. Oh, and we're eating hamburgers. Just sayin'.
7:12pm
Marco Berzovini (Milan, Italy):
@kat...still there? Berlusconi likes Mitt Romney, I'm sure. I don't know who disliked him, newspapers didn't speak about...
7:13pm
phil:
Tuning in from Tokyo, good morning, Lamin, everyone!
7:14pm
northguineahills:
I only have veggie burgers to grill, and I'll have to wait for the missus to come home before grilling. (my gf is a veggie).
7:14pm
kat330:
@Marco: Jon Stewart here had an item where he mentioned the fleecing of Italy -- some sort of telephone deal -- where he avoided paying any taxes on a $25 million + deal (not positive on numbers) by funneling it through Luxembourg. Screwed US, too, of course.
7:16pm
kat330:
@ngh: So your gf is, for e.g., a tomato? ;)
7:19pm
kat330:
It's hard for kats to be exclusively vegetarian, but I do try. Our 7SD course was just salad. :)
7:21pm
Marco Berzovini (Milan, Italy):
@kat Berlusconi worked on the people mind. Now we are breathing. Hoping for other 4 years of Obama...
7:23pm
anne:
evening Lamin and listeners!
PHIL!! are u online? just sent you a long email, ermehgerd.
7:23pm
kat330:
Glad you are breathing again, Marco! There was nothing new about Bain Capital not paying its fair share of taxes. The interesting angle was that your country with your history of crooks in power would be so outraged by Romney. That puts his behavior in perspective.
oh, and I'd like some hamburgers! that'll make my cypher complete. :)
7:25pm
northguineahills:
She just got home, let me ask.
I really digging the Afterhours.
7:25pm
kat330:
Hi, Lamin! Are you familiar with your palindrome band from Switzerland, Nimal?
7:27pm
other david:
This is supoib
7:28pm
northguineahills:
lol, kat, I remembering you mentioning that during Tony's set. I'm jumping ship now, See y'all later. Thanks for the sounds, Lamin!
7:29pm
kat330:
Yes, we, too. Not often we're still tuned in -- embarrassing admission here -- because it's, um, Jeopardy at 7:30 [closing eyes to the heaped on ridicule]
7:30pm
kat330:
Bye, ngh! Have a great night. Sweet dreams to you and your tomato! :)
7:30pm
other david:
g'night kat & philo, nice to see you folks as always :)
7:31pm
kat330:
Ta-ta! :)
7:31pm
Marco Berzovini (Milan, Italy):
Very interesting Kat, thank you for your words. I'm still worried. 2007-2008 were orrible: the economy and the politics were in the hands of a man only. Expecially in Milan. And those crooks are still sitting in their chairs!
7:31pm
other david:

7:33pm
kat330:
Ciao, Marco, and bono fortuna?! <--- pigeon Italian :)
7:33pm
other david:
@Marco: greetings from Ireland, we're in a similar position to you. crooks still in high places, politicians get shuffled around, but those in power still know who they serve - and it's not the people, it's big business.
@david we cannot make a revolution in every country! We are in the hands of the mega-leaders and of the times of democracies. I can only say that Barack Obama changed better the situation in my country. In this moment only leaders and politicians are rotten. Due to economical crisis and a return to the reason people are still ready
7:43pm
Marco Berzovini (Milan, Italy):
ready to think...
7:52pm
jprowle:
groovy tunes!
7:53pm
