I think I'll be alright. At least I can walk around a bit better in here.

Tonight's playlist might be a bit bland, but, we'll see what happens. Kind of ended up rushing a bit with things this afternoon and couldn't get stuff set up correctly. Oops.

BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):
This is my first time listening to your show so I don't have any preconceived notions or expectations.
3:25am
Nick the Bard:
Trust me, check out the last show and you'll see how this one is probably going to end up comparing.
3:29am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):
So is the Action Figure Theater fumetti a regular feature of your playlists?
3:30am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):
How appropriate that there would be a cut-out bin at a place called Cost Cutters.

BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):
ASH!

Nick the Bard:
I actually wanted it to be from the start, but last week was the first time I had done it. I did have one planned for tonight, but I couldn't find a couple of the figures I really needed for it in time.
I have done them in the past on my own defunct website, so the one I did last week was a good first experimental one, but lousy in my overall body of work (I think anyway, the dialogue just feels REALLY generic)

BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):
You do your best. And you'll get better the more you do it. Sometimes when you're trying to write something it just doesn't happen. I've written for publications and websites in the past (and kind of do now...I'm the social media ninjaneer for my company) and there have been times where I just want to beat my head against a wall in hopes that it'll knock a good idea loose.
3:44am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):
There's this one Star Wars action figure thing I've been seeking for fifteen years. Man or Astroman? used it as the video intro to their shows on a tour. The audio was the old 7-inch Star Wars story record and the video was the record acted out with action figures. The assault on the Death Star used visuals from the old Atari Star Wars arcade game.

Nick the Bard:
I hear you. The comics I've done that I've really felt were my best work were the ones that just poured out in one shot. I think once I can get to a regular pattern of dealing with things in their entirety it should get easier to deal with.
3:54am
ausmanx:
evening from Sydney, Nick. Americans are very strange.
