Wait, did my computer just break or did someone say they didn't like Bob Marley?! It's ironic, because one of the main people who got me deeper into reggae was my high school science teacher and her name was Cecile!

Yes, I know Jan. But he's had such a huge influence. I love many artists from that period - Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker, Junior Murvin, Burning Spear, Dennis Brown, of course the Harder they Come soundtrack. I just am not excited stuff in Marley's later style, and that's what I encounter out here. Not on 'FMU, just in my local travels.
The 60s and 70s are my favorite period of reggae. After that, I mostly stick to the Singers and Players stuff and dub because it's kinda loopy.

Sorry for the late comment, but I was in the car until now. What was that amazing percussion track you played around 1:25? I made a note to myself that said "2 songs after it was a song that had a chorus 'stop this train'" but I can't figure it out from the track titles. Any help anyone?
