The "hot" band? I dunno Cecile. I heard a lot of people buzzing about some band Alabama Shakes, anyone heard of 'em? I didn't see them. But my personal highlights were Dikes of Holland, the entire WFMU showcase, Crawl, Olneyville Sound System, dB's w/ Mitch Easter, Jesus and Mary Chain

How were the dBs? I know in the late 80s Holsapple said he couldn't sing some songs live like "Black and White" anymore - they were too high.

Oh the buzz of SXSW was homeless people being used as wifi hubs and the multi-story doritos vending machine (pictured above). We put in enough quarters to get the GZA
