I think I had a problem with the "Our Band Could Be Our Life," cause the author wasn't from the Midwest. So much of getting Big Black, the 'mats, etc came from as the mats put it being stuck in the middle. And you could be in the middle on both coasts, as long as you were stuck somewhere you didn't want to be.
