Carmichael, I kicked the ass of my sleazy former landlord who set fire to the apartment building, didn't clean up or fix the damages or the fire code violations for a LONG TIME, intercepted my mail, screamed at me, etc. and then had the nerve to sue me when I broke my lease. Oh ,and he also withheld my sec dep, which the judge just awarded me DOUBLE, plus 7% interest. And the judge said I was within my rights to break my lease and I don't owe him a penny. So, I stuck it to The Man. And yes, it was swwwweeeeeeeett!

Lewis, I haven't read that one. I'll check it out, thank you! I got a little bogged down in "Fortress of Solitude" but I'm happy I stuck it out because it's a wonderful book. It's rare I read fiction, being such a non-fiction person, but some writers and stories are so compelling, I can't resist. I also like T. Coraghessan Boyle, although I heard he comes across as a total a**hole in interviews!
