How many different versions of this song by Spacemen 3 are there? This is at least the 3rd that I've heard. Great track in all 3 versions though.
  10:16pm
D. Blumin:

Forged Prescriptions, Mike! Yes, PB, they are like mushrooms after the rain - popping up all over the place - this album alone has 2.
  10:20pm
Mike East:

Ah cool! Looks like a special reissue of Perfect Prescription, which I have. Very cool. I will keep my eye out for it at my local record store. Cheers!
  10:22pm
D. Blumin:

It's from 2003, Mike, so you might have to order the sucka. Or have someone order it in case someone forgot to get you sumfin!
  10:26pm
Mike East:

True! Always looking through the used CD stacks, though, which is where I find most of my gold. I'm sure that's where I got most of my Spacemen 3 as well as my Spiritualized. Why anyone would give such treasures up, I'll never know, but I can't complain.
  10:27pm
jw:

I was wondering if it was around the time of WW II. Not the recording but what he was writing about as Wiki said the poem is from a collection covering 1926–1977

I'd never heard of him until hearing play here. I need to check out his poetry more...
  11:44pm
D. Blumin:

You might've read/seen Sheltering Sky too... That was my introduction...
  11:48pm
